Giving Office 365 a Shot
Just a quick update.
You might have read about my e-mail woes in yesterday’s article and not wanting to leave things lingering for too long I decided to pull the trigger and try out Office 365 free for thirty days. I have always been a big user of Outlook and moving the back end of my e-mail to Exchange from a traditional mail server seemed to be a logical next step.
Anyway, I am going to see how well it works with Microsoft Office 2010 (and perhaps 2013 if I find time) as well as how Office 365 interoperates with Windows 8. At present, I am not planning on moving from Window Home Server 2011 to Windows Server 2012 Essentials but if there are some compelling features that hook in with Office 365 then that could always remain an option.
Anyway, stay tuned and I will let you know how I go.
