Office 365 Finally Gets Upgraded
Just a short note today.
I’ve been using Office 365 for a while now after some issues trying to manage an explosion of e-mail with my webhost and, after some anticipation, I’ve finally had my account upgraded to the equivalent of Office 2013, Exchange 2013 and Sharepoint 2013 overnight.
I did have to manually upgrade my Sharepoint sites which took less than a minute as there isn’t much up there apart from some documents I keep up in the cloud.
Anyway, I’ll write about my experiences with the new version of Office 365 but I already appreciate the updated Outlook Web interface to match Outlook 2013. I was on Microsoft Office 365 Plan P1 which apparently maps to Office 365 Small Business after the upgrade but there is an Office 365 Small Business Premium plan which also includes five copies of Microsoft Office per user as well as Office Mobile for iPhone.
