Here’s a quick tip for Windows 8.1 users.
If you’ve upgraded you may have found that your Start Screen tiles may have been squished down a bit depending upon your screen resolution.

This can be a bit annoying if you want to use all of the screen real estate so there is an easy way to expand the tiles to use the screen.
- Go to the Start Screen,
- Swipe in from the right or hit Windows + C,
- Click Settings,
- Click Tiles,
- Enable the option to Enable more tiles.

Once done you should notice that your tiles fill up more of screen so long as your resolution supports it.
