An Alternative to Full Size SD Cards
Here’s a quick tip for today.
For those of us that have been using flash memory for a while we’d be all too familiar with the humble SD card. The SD card has continued to grow in capacity from 1MB through to huge capacities 64GB and higher in SDXC formats.
What people may not realise is that the smaller microSD cards are identical to their larger brethren apart from the size. microSD cards can sometimes be cheaper than the equivalent SD card and can sometimes include an adapter to convert it to full standard size. You won’t lose any speed in using the adapter either so it’s a great alternative all round.
Something to keep in mind particularly if you need to buy some SD cards in bulk
