I will try and get another video up on how the smartphone and tablet apps interact with this home theatre system but already I am finding it handy to change the amplifier volume independent of the volume control enforced by the television. When we change HDMI interfaces one can be significantly louder than the other so this capability is helping to balance the levels across all of the interfaces.
Another thing to note is that it can take a little bit of time and care to assemble all four speakers but the square bases on them are a vast improvement over the circular bases found on the BTT755 that I had beforehand.
Anyway, if you’ve got questions on this unit let me know and I will try and answer them for you 🙂

I just recently purchased this product but I’m having a few issues hooking up my ps3 to it…..Was just wondering if you could give me a bit of walkthrough on how to get my ps3 working with this system or at least what things I will require to get it working perfectly?
I can give you an idea of what to do if you can tell me what television you own. Ideally, you should have the home theatre system connected to the ARC HDMI socket on the television and the PS3 on one of the other HDMI sockets. This will allow the audio to pass from the PS3 through the television and into the home theatre system.
What television do you have? You need to make sure that your home theatre system is connected to the HDMI socket that has ARC (Audio Return Channel) functionality.
Hello!
Cool vid thanks! You got the black BTT-880, I got the silver one! Black looks cool I gotta say!
Anyways I was wondering if you could please advice me on an issue I’m having with this sound system.
The Panasonic TV is connected to the 880 via HDMI ARC. In addition to my satellite TV box I also have a gaming PC hooked into the 880.
Here’s my problem – when I’m using the gaming PC to play games & listen to music the volume from the 880 5.1 is great. In fact I only need to keep it at level 15 to 20. Its that loud. Same when watching DVDs.
But when I watch TV in have to bump the volume to level 80 or even 90 to hear anything. Even then its not loud 🙁
Why is the sound from the PC & DVD player so good but absolutely so weak when watching TV? Please can you offer some advice thank you!!
The volume is set on a per interface basis so when you have the TV on use your home theatre remote (not the television remote) and turn up the volume on the home theatre system. You might not get any visual indication on the television but you should be able to bump up the volume that way such that you can turn the television volume back down.
