If you use Office 365 and the Sharepoint Online functionality included as part of your subscription you may find that you are unable to add your Sharepoint site to Windows Phone 8 in the Office hub. When attempting to do so, you may encounter the following error:

If you are on one of the lower end plans then it turns out that SSL is not available with SharePoint. At the time of writing it is unknown when Microsoft will address this gap but when secure connections are fast becoming standard this is a bit of a concern.
Anyway, the solution to this problem is rather simple. When typing in the URL for your SharePoint site, simply change the https:// at the front to http:// and add the site. It should work but this means that your documents and content will be transmitted in the clear which may or may not be acceptable – something worth considering whilst Microsoft gets its act together.
