The web seems to be abuzz with updates being released for a number of Windows Phone handsets including the LG Optimus 7, HTC Mozart and the Samsung Omnia 7. At any rate, I have updated my phone and will check out what the update might contain (if obvious).

According to the Windows Phone Blog the update might include things like improvements to call clarity, screen responsiveness and other bits and pieces. I’ll have a play with the phone and if I can discern any noticeable differences I will come back and update this post but at least with the two test calls I have made so far there didn’t appear to be any significant improvement to call quality (which wasn’t bad at all in the first place). However, the display does seem to be smoother in terms of screen transitions.
