As promised, after taking delivery of the new Panasonic Viera 50″ Plasma 3DTV (TH-P50VT20A) on Thursday, I managed to record an unboxing video today with some help from my wife!
It is available in high definition for those of you who would like to watch in the best possible resolution.
I must mentioned that after shooting the video I did find another plastic pouch containing the user guide and batteries for the remote. I must say that the manual is quite detailed and is one of the better ones I have read for such a device.
Anyway, enjoy the unboxing video and stay tuned for the preview video coming tomorrow!

Did you notice, on the remote, it has two IR transmitters? So you can use it horizontally or vertically. It was a nice touch, and makes it much easier when familiarizing oneself with the remote.
Great attention to detail there! I could imagine many people would overlook such a feature (myself included on that point). My wife will find it particularly handy when attempting to use the remote when lying on the floor instead of trying to break her wrist to adjust the volume!
