Another quick one tonight.
I am attending my cousin’s wedding reception this evening and there were slideshows containing photos of the wedding ceremony and other past and recent memories.
I think it is amazing that over the last decade that digital photography has matured so much and has become ubiquitous in our lives. Once upon a time, photographers would have had to wait until the film was developed in a red room (which would have been some effort up to that point) to realise if the shots taken were any good.
Turning a collection of photos into an album or slideshow these days seems a trivial and straightforward task of which younger generations take advantage. Particularly with social networking, taking photos and socialising them in a matter of seconds.
It’s a quick and convenient way to collate and record memories but as always, remember to backup and backup often!
How often do you take digital photos and how liberal are you with sharing them?
