If you’ve ever wanted to get a visual idea of the scale of stuff in the universe then there’s a great Flash-based tool that shows you a variety of objects and scales all the way from the length of a planck through to the estimated size of the universe. You can use the slider to zoom in and out and you can even click on the various objects in view to view a small descriptive blurb.
