Boydo’s Tech Talk Gets a Facelift

I know a lot of people read this site on their mobiles and so would have bypassed the desktop layout of my blog. That said, there’s still a significant number of people who visit from their computers and would have put up with the way the site looked.

Amyway, I’ve updated the theme to something more clean (and for those long time readers you might remember it). It’s been refined and tweaked somewhat to make better usage of the screen, improve readability and also help readers work out the general topic of each post at a glance with “featured images”. It’ll take me a while to go back through and add images to all of the prior posts though (if I can find suitable ones for all of them).

I’ve also included a couple of new sections on the blog.

Firstly, I’ve included a new section for “Credits“. All of the content I write here is either my own or cited if quoted from another site but for the icons that I use as featured images it was difficult and impractical to attribute credit in the actual article. So the “Credits” page is there to fulfill that purpose and, besides, if I tried making those images myself they’d come out worse than stick figures!

The second new section, “Insider Guru Blogs” will list the article that I write for Panasonic Australia on their blog in my capacity as Insider Guru. At the time of writing there are two articles in there but it will be updated as time progresses.

I’ve even spruced up the “About Boydo” page with a few photos of yours truly 🙂

So anyway, if you do view this on the mobile site please give it a go on the desktop and let me know what you think!
