Windows Phone – Disappearing Keyboard Fix Now Available
For the Windows Phone users out there just a heads up that a new update is on its way to your devices to correct the disappearing keyboard problem (where the on-screen keyboard vanishes either in the middle of typing or fails to appear at all when selecting a text field after upgrading to Mango).
I’ve only encountered this a few times on my Samsung Omnia 7 (most recently in the last few days) when trying to type out a forum message in Internet Explorer.
Anyway, the version number you are looking out for is “8107” as soon as your carrier approves the update for release to your handset. This update doesn’t include any new features but I’d recommend installing it just so you keep up to date.
