Before I moved to Sydney ten years ago I had bought myself a comfortable computer chair. It had some sort of black leather-like material which had worn away over the years on the armrests due to chaffing against the desk. This had exposed the foam underneath which was starting to disappear as well.
Add to that the fact that the adjustment controls were also worn out and really this was a chair, albeit still mostly comfortable, that could not really be adjusted anymore. So, I decided it was time for a new chair and old faithful could be put out to pasture (i.e. my brother-in-law can take it for nothing for his kids to use at their computers).
Essentially, I wanted something that wasn’t leather and had been intrigued by the mesh chairs I had seen over the years. I also wanted a chair with good back support and adjustable armrests as well as the standard height and reclining adjustments.
Ultimately, I ended up choosing the ErgoFlex Space Office Chair from Milan Direct and here’s the unboxing video.
I want to use it for a couple of months before I report back by so far it has been very comfortable particularly for watching videos at my desk. If you’ve got any questions about this chair though please leave a comment below and I’ll do my best to give you an answer 🙂
