Toggle the Charm Keys on the Surface Keyboard
Here’s a quick tip for Surface power users.
The keyboards are one of the hardware highlights of the Surface particularly for power users. However, the F keys (like F1, F2, F3, F4, etc) are inverted such that they are assigned special uses such as accessing charms, navigation options or multimedia control. Unfortunately, this can be annoying as to get the F keys to act as normal you need to hold down the Fn (function) key as part of any shortcut you want to execute.
Fortunately, there is a way to change the F keys back to their traditional behaviour.
All you need to do is hold down the function key and hit caps lock – done!
