Receive Reminders About a Fitbit With Low Battery
If you’re like me and you forget to recharge your Fitbit you might need something to jog the old memory.
Whilst the Android app does give you a reminder when the battery is getting a bit low it doesn’t help me too much given that my Android tablet plays second fiddle to my Windows Phone which doesn’t have an official app with such functionality. Often, I will be well away from home before realising that the Fitbit needs some extra juice (although the Fitbit will last at least a day or two before going flat).
So, you can use the Fitbit Notifier service at JCS which will drop you an e-mail when you should recharge your Fitbit. You’ll need to hook it up to your Fitbit account so it can access the power information for your Fitbit but other than that you only need to provide your e-mail address and you should be golden.
