Panasonic Insider Crew Wraps Up

As unfortunate as it is that all good things come to and end the Insider Crew is going offline as of today.

Of course, I do feel a little sad about it as it has been a fantastic community where we’ve discussed products and technology as well as sharing our experiences with each other across a broad range of electronics. It’s also been a fantastic place to ask questions and get a better understanding of how specific technologies work or were discovered in the first instance.

Personally, this also means that my tenure as Insider Guru comes to an end. This has been a great challenge and experience for me as I’ve been able to delve into areas such as cameras and photography where my level of comfort and knowledge was lower compared to televisions or computers. I also appreciated having the opportunity to meet and interview a number of key people within Panasonic including Managing Director, Steve Rust and exercise my writing skills on the Panasonic Australia blog. It’s also been a pleasure to help look after the community from go to whoa and interact with a bunch of other people from around Australia who share similar passions.

I’ve been most fortunate to have had this opportunity as well as the flexibility with my day job whilst also undertaking my university studies. It has really helped me appreciate exactly how much you can undertake and accomplish if you put your mind to it and manage your time and resources effectively.

Ultimately, I do want to thank Panasonic for the opportunity as well as the fantastic people at Soup for their support and collaboration – thanks guys!

Anyway, as the old adage goes, as one door closes another one opens so I’ll be keeping my eyes open for the next great opportunity 🙂
