Expose the Camera App on the Asus Google Nexus 7
A short and sharp tip for today.
Despite the Nexus 7 lacking a rear camera you can, with a bit of skill and coordination, use the front facing camera to take photos. However, if you want to take a photo without being in an app like Facebook or Instagram you’re somewhat stuck.
Fortunately, there is a an app in the Google Play store called Camera Neus 7 (official) although the “official” tag is perhaps a bit inaccurate as the app listing itself isn’t listed by Google itself but it merely installs a shortcut to the standard Android camera app. It costs nothing and should install almost instantly.
Whilst the camera quality isn’t fantastic at least you can take photos if required.
