I was hoping to hold off for a bit longer but due to the degrading reliability of the Touch Cover for my Microsoft Surface I had to kick off the process to get it replaced. Unfortunately, the online chat representative seemed unaware (or unwilling) to offer me the option of having sending back the defective Touch Cover within fifteen days of receiving a replacement Touch Cover.
Oh well.
I didn’t fancy being without a compact and portable keyboard so I decided to buy a Type Cover – so I did. Of course, I had to give it the unboxing treatment so here’s the video!
I show the Type Cover off as well as a brief comparison against the Touch Cover and a quick test with my Microsoft Surface.
FYI – the video will be available in up to 1080p if you right click on the video and choose “Watch on YouTube” and change the resolution setting.
