Find an App in Windows 8
Another quick tip.
In Windows Vista and Windows 7 we’ve had the handy ability to hit the Start button and type in the name of the applications we want to run. This is useful for applications that you might not have pinned to your taskbar or access all that often. For others, it might be quicker to use the keyboard if you hands are already poised rather than go for the mouse.
However, you might ask what you might do on Windows 8?
Essentially, it is nearly the same thing – just hit the Start key on your keyboard to get to the Start Screen and type in the name of the app you want to fire up. You can use the arrow keys on your keyboard to select the one you’re after and hit Enter to get going.
