Quickly Finding the Time on Windows RT
Here’s a quick tip for those getting into Windows RT and Windows 8tablets out there.
One common complaint with Windows RT is when you run full screen apps or you are on the Start Screen you are unable to view the time. The only apparent place to see the time and date is on the desktop but that isn’t the most convenient place particularly if you don’t have a keyboard connected.
Fear not, there is a simple solution to this problem.
Simply swipe in from the right of the screen to bring up the charms bar and the time and date will appear in the bottom left corner. A quick flick of your right thumb can bring up the time whilst closing the charms bar so you can get on with whatever activity you may be undertaking on your Windows tablet.
