Sometimes you might want to use two separate Google accounts without how to log out and login or switch between them given that doing so may interrupt other services in use (like Gmail, YouTube, Google Calendar, etc). I have a persona Gmail account as well as another Gmail account for the strata in which I live plus a separate Google account for the blog’s YouTube channel.
Things can get messy rather quickly.
Anyway, there are two solutions, to put it simply:
- Use multiple browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc) and use a different Google account in each,
- If you use Google Chrome, you can use one instance in standard mode with one account and another instance in incognito mode with a second account. Otherwise, Internet Explorer 9 or 10 will allow you to do the same thing with its “InPrivate Browsing” mode.
Unfortunately, the second option won’t work with Firefox as it forces all of your Firefox tabs and windows to close while you enter private browsing mode – this is no good if you want to use two account simultaneously.
