A Nifty Springboard in Windows 8
With the impending release of Windows 8 both power and regular users alike might be looking for ways to ease the transition to the new Start Screen. If this sounds like you then here’s something that you might find handy
There’s a hidden menu that will provide you immediate access to a lot of commonly used functions, including:
- Device Manager,
- Command Prompt,
- Command Prompt (Admin),
- Control Panel,
- Search,
- Task Manager,
- Windows Explorer.

All you need to do is hit Win + X and the menu will appear wherever you might be in Windows or an application and you’re in business!
