Locate a Seemingly Missing Mouse Cursor
With screens of massive size and resolution all the way down to those tiny screens on netbooks it can be difficult to find the mouse cursor for whatever reason. There is however an easy way to locate your cursor on your screen by enabling a handy feature in Windows 7.
Windows Vista:
- Click the “Start” button,
- Click “Control Panel”,
- Click “Hardware and Sound” and then “Devices and Printers”
- Locate your mouse in the list, right click on it and click on “Mouse Properties”,
- Click on the “Point Options” tab,
- Tick the option “Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key”,
- Click “OK”.
Mouse Properties - Windows 7
All you then need to do is press the Control key on your keyboard and it will be highlighted with a contracting circle to show you just where that pesky mouse cursor has ended up!
