Estimate Your Weight Loss Goal Achievement with Fitbit
I’ve been using the Fitbit for over a year now and it’s a great way to keep track of your steps, general activity throughout the day as well as your diet. You can also track body measurements as well as your weight and percentage body fat (of which the last two will automatically be updated with the Fitbit Aria scales).
Fitbit - Weight Graph
Anyway, if you are working towards a weight loss goal, like myself, the Fitbit website will actually provide you an estimate of when you are going to hit your target based upon your recent weight loss performance.
Fitbit - Weight Stats
This can be a good way to motivate yourself to do a little extra to move towards those short term goals and perhaps keep you on the straight and narrow if you know how close you are to your target in terms of time. You can also challenge yourself to beat the estimated date (but don’t go overboard!).
It’s just one of those little extra things to keep your fitness in check and keep you headed in the right direction.

I have been eyeing the fitbit for a while and your detailed post validates my thinking that this investment is a must before summer sets in.
