Census 2011 – Have You Submitted Your Census?
No doubt, most Australians around the country would have knuckled down and filled in their forms (paper or electronic) for Census 2011. For those who have gone with the trusty pen and paper route it’s “business as usual” while you wait for the collector to swing past. However, the eCensus is a slightly different kettle of fish where you push your completed form back to the ABS rather than having it collected from you by a person knocking on your door.
So tonight, there is just a simple message if you did complete your form electronically this time around:
Make sure you have gone through the survey all the way through to submission.
Unless you have received a receipt number and a message telling you that your local collector has been notified you’ve not completed your form (and you should expect a visit from your local collector who is expecting the paper form as they don’t get notified until you lodge the form). So just double check that you have sent it off so you don’t get any unexpected surprises!
