Restore Missing Toggles in MIUI for Android

On the weekend, I upgraded the version of MIUI on my Samsung Galaxy S to Version 6.13.1  from an earlier version and noticed that the fantastic toggle drawer had disappearing leaving something that closely resembled the standard Android drawer and toggles.

For me, this was a bit of a letdown as I frequently turn the Bluetooth connectivity on and off to save battery power (as I only every use it to pair with the hands-free in the Prius) plus easy access to flight mode, reboot and shutdown commands.

Anyway, it seems like the default setting for custom toggles in MIUI was changed somewhere in the Version 1.5 stream which suppresses the separate notification and toggle screens and merges them into the classic format as shown above. If you want to restore the original format, just do the following:

  • Go the the Home screen,
  • Press the “Menu” button then choose “Settings”,
  • Click on the “Personal” tab then turn off “Enable custom toggles”.

You should then find your notification and toggle drawers back to normal.

En Ajustes tienes que encontrar la opción de Toggle en donde defines si lo quieres compacto (el que tienes) o página (el otro)

In settings you have the Toggle option… you can define if you want it compact or page mode.
