Yesterday I published the unboxing video for the Fitbit Wireless Personal Trainer and hopefully you have had a chance to watch it.
Today, I recorded the preview video to give you a closer look at the various components that came in the box as well as the Fitbit itself, the statistics it tracks on its little OLED screen and a glimpse at the Fitbit website where you can track the food you eat, specifics about your activities to align with the data captured by the Fitbit and your historic results.
As always the video is available in high definition for those of you who would like to watch in the best possible resolution.
As far as the Fitbit is concerned it is very much “what you see is what you get”. It’s quite tiny at around the size of a AA battery and weighs in at just twelve grams. The tiny display is sufficient for what you need on the go but you do need to calibrate a few variables such as the length of your stride (walking and running) and your height in order to allow the Fitbit website to better estimate your performance (and send those variables back down to your Fitbit).
Anyway, stay tuned for the review!
