Correct Wayward Readings on the Fitbit Aria
Here’s a quick tip for owners of the Fitbit Aria.
I’ve done a few tests after having used my scale for a while against a traditional scale which calibrates itself at the beginning of each weigh in. I found that the Fitbit Aria can potentially drift in its readings the longer it is used compared to a standard scale. As such, you may end up getting a higher or lower reading that you should receive.
One thing that I find works is pulling the batteries out for ten seconds and popping them back in. I compared my results again against the traditional scale and the results were spot on. I’ll have to see how this continues over the coming days but initial comparisons are positive.
