A while ago I noticed a comment on my YouTube channel about problems regarding issues experienced with the Nyko Power Grip for the Nintendo 3DS. I’ve been evaluating this over the last couple of months and while I haven’t noticed much in the way of degradation of the battery I did run into an odd situation.
Normally, when the red light is flashing on the Nyko Power Grip it means that the charge in itself is low and you should recharge it when possible. Usually, you can do this with a Nintendo 3DS still docked to the battery but for some reason the Nyko Power Grip would not accept any charge while charging overnight.
In this situation the Nintendo 3DS itself was low on charge which may have caused problems with trying to charge up both the 3DS and the Nyko Power Grip at the same time. My solution was to undock the Nintendo 3DS and charge them up separately after which everything worked a treat. If you’re in the same situation then you might consider giving this a shot to see if it gets things going once again.
