So, the replacement for my ill-fated Logitech UE9000 headphones finally arrived in the form of the Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset and, of course, that demands an unboxing video!
Given that Logitech no longer manufactured the UE9000 headphones I was offered a choice of another product up to the same value. Given that I needed a headset with a microphone for gaming (as I had been slumming it with the microphone on my webcam) and my preference for wireless headphones the G930 seemed like the natural choice given that I was already in the Logitech hardware ecosystem for my keyboard and mouse.
The major features of these headphones are:
- Dolby Headphone 7.1 surround sound capability,
- 2.4GHz wireless connectivity,
- Three programmable G-Keys
- Noise-cancelling, rotate-to-mute microphone,
- Estimated ten hours battery life per charge,
- Integration with the Logitech Gaming Software (also used for its gaming keyboard and mice range).
Anyway, here is the unboxing video:
If you have any questions about this headset just leave a comment below! In the meantime, I am giving these a workout with some of my favourite games 🙂
