Video Scaling Issues in BeyondPod for Tablets
Another quick tip.
If you’ve upgraded your Android tablet to Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) you may find that BeyondPod isn’t scaling videos to full screen. Apparently, there was a change made in Android 4.3 that affects how video scales by default and,, unless your videos are encoded at your devices native resolution, you’d have to put up with watching smaller video.
Fortunately, a fix is in the works and will be pushed out of beta just as soon as the next version is ready but if you can’t wait you can download the latest beta which appears to resolve the issue. You can use the following links corresponding to the version of BeyondPod that you’re using:
FYI – you may need to enable the ability to install software from unknown sources in your devices security settings.
