Error 1935 When Installing Applications
Here’s a quick tip if you’re bamboozled by Error 1935 when installing a new application under Windows.
This problem seems to be caused when you install, update or uninstall the .NET Framework. This is due to the way that the Windows Installer service behaves on more recent versions of Windows that ends up causing a conflict between the version of Mscoree.dll that the new application wants to use and the existing version on the computer.
The easy way to fix this problem is to simply reboot your computer and retry the application installation. However, you can also stop the Windows Installer service and then restart the service once you have completed the application installation.
