SLI Requires Full Screen Mode
Another quick tip and the title pretty much says it all.
If you’ve got two nVidia video cards in your computer and have them set to run in SLI you obviously want to ensure that those cards are being used to their full potential. For whatever reason, you might like to run your games in a window rather than full screen (if you need to have a web browser handy for some tips and tricks). Otherwise, you may just prefer running particular games in a window.
Unfortunately, if you do run games windowed then SLI won’t properly activate so the rule of thumb is basically to run them in full screen mode to reap the benefits of your video card investments.
