Hide Password Keystrokes Under Windows RT
Another quick tip Windows RT tip.
If you’re in close quarters such as on a train and you’re trying to type in a password on your Windows RT tablet using the onscreen keyboard then you might be worried about others having a peek. There’s a great feature in Windows RT that can help you out.
Just before you are about to enter in a password simply tap on the Hide keypress button. This will prevent the keys from being highlighted when you tap them which might make it harder for someone having a casual glance to determine your password.
If you want to turn keypress highlighting back on just tap Hide keypress again to deselect it.
