Latest nVidia Unified Drivers Include Windows 8 Support
Just a quick one for today for those using numerous computers with nVidia graphics cards inside and some running Windows 8.
Recently, Windows 8 specific drivers from nVidia were released but were no good if you wanted to use it on other versions of Windows. While many of us on higher speed broadband connections don’t mind the download it can be a pain for those still on slower speeds for whatever reason (budget, line conditions, throttled speeds, etc).
Anyway, the GeForce 304.79 beta drivers now provide unified support for Windows XP through Windows 8. Remember though that these drivers are still in beta form so you could run into some issues with stability and other quirks but if you don’t mind living on the edge you can grab it here.
