Samsung Galaxy S III Unboxing

Following on from yesterday’s heads up on my acquisition of a Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone I have also managed to record an unboxing and sneak peak video whilst up in Cairns on holiday. Over the last couple of days I have had more of an opportunity to use the phone ahead of doing a preview video just to get a bit more familiar with the device and its various nuances.

Anyway, the contents of the box are somewhat similar to the Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Galaxy S II (with exception of the phone of course). This time around you get a selection of ear pieces for the earphones so you can swap them with a size that comrtable and snuggly fits your ear. Also, the mini optical disc is now absent which used to contain the Samsung Kies software (which was quite horrible and bloated for my liking).

In my opinion, the styling of the box (at least for the white model of the Samsung Galaxy S III) has continued to channel Apple’s design with minimal markings on the box apart from the back which lists some of the major features and specifications. This has been consistent with the boxes for the two prior models.
