Hi folks.
Just a quick note to let you know that I am attending a Panasonic home appliances launch event this evening. Whilst most people might find it difficult to get excited about whitegoods (particularly when the focus is on audio/visual products, mobile devices and computers) I think that it’s worth looking under the covers of these to find out how they work and save power.
This sort of knowledge is often something that we overlook or leave to the last minute when we need to replace a dead appliance (such as a washing machine where your priority is just to get one so you can wash your increasing pile of dirty clothes). Otherwise, research may uncover significant energy savings between your current appliance and a new one (such as aging fridges compared to later models).
I expect that I will have a whole stack of information to mull over this evening so I will aim to have a round up on some of the products this week (hopefully tomorrow though). I am collaborating with other bloggers in the Soup community to hopefully cover the full lineup being shown off tonight (so you should read their blogs too when they publish their articles).
Stay tuned!
