Check Your Computer’s Reliability in Windows 7
Here’s another quick tip for you this evening.
Windows 7 includes a neat little utility that tracks various events on your computer such as updates, warnings and critical events (like application and operating system crashes). This little utility also rates your computer’s overall stability over time with hiccups bringing the score down whilst prolonged stability gradually builds the score up again.
You can click on a particular date to see what happened at a given point in time and view technical information about each event.
- Windows 7 – Reliability Monitor
In order to access the Reliability Monitor just click on the Start button then type in “reliability” and click on “View reliability history” which should present the above window. This can be very handy when you want to attempt to quantify the reliability of your computer or need a technical person to come and check out what is going wrong.
