Maybe a flimsy theory at best but with little else to go on I couldn&#8217;t be any worse off but thinking outside the box. So, I thought that this might of had something to do with having the report fetch data asynchronously from the database.<\/p>\n<p>So, I did the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Closed and reopened Crystal Reports,<\/li>\n<li>Opened the offending report,<\/li>\n<li>Disabled <strong>Perform Query Asynchronously <\/strong>in <strong>Report Options<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Refresh the report,<\/li>\n<li>Save the report.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div id=\"attachment_6347\" style=\"width: 304px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mingersoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Crystal-Reports-Report-Options.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6347\" class=\" wp-image-6347 \" alt=\"Crystal Reports - Report Options\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mingersoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Crystal-Reports-Report-Options.png?resize=304%2C347\" width=\"304\" height=\"347\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mingersoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Crystal-Reports-Report-Options.png?w=507&amp;ssl=1 507w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mingersoft.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Crystal-Reports-Report-Options.png?resize=263%2C300&amp;ssl=1 263w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 304px) 100vw, 304px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-6347\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Crystal Reports &#8211; Report Options<\/p><\/div>\n<p>This seemed to work for me just fine and, when I re-enabled the offending option the function sequence error reappeared.
