Don’t you just hate it when you’re playing a game and you are mashing the shift key only to be mercilessly thrown back to the desktop with a StickyKeys prompt? If you’re playing an online game it could mean the difference between winning or losing a narrow game.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, it is fairly easy to turn this off under Windows 7 and 8:<\/p>\n

  1. Hit the shift key five times,<\/li>\n
  2. Click the link that says\u00a0Go to the Ease of Access Center to disable the keyboard shortcut<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
  3. Ubtick\u00a0Turn on Sticky Keys<\/strong> and untick\u00a0Turn on Sticky Keys when SHIFT is pressed five times<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
  4. Click\u00a0OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
