Here’s a quick tip.<\/p>\n

If you’re using a solid state drive then you are probably trying to scrounge as much free space particularly if you’ve only got a 64GB or 128GB solid state drive. If you’ve got a hard drive then you’ve probably shifted larger stuff over to it that doesn’t require the speed as much as frequently used applications.<\/p>\n

The Spotify cache is perhaps something that falls into that bucket and it is a snap to move it as follows:<\/p>\n

  1. Open Spotify,<\/li>\n
  2. Stop any music if any might be playing,<\/li>\n
  3. Click Edit<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
  4. Click Preferences<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
  5. Scroll down to the Cache<\/strong> section,<\/li>\n
  6. Next to Location<\/strong> click Browse<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
  7. Select the new location of the cache (or create a new folder to contain the cache),<\/li>\n
  8. Click OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
