If you&#8217;ve got a hard drive then you&#8217;ve probably shifted larger stuff over to it that doesn&#8217;t require the speed as much as frequently used applications.<\/p>\n<p>The Spotify cache is perhaps something that falls into that bucket and it is a snap to move it as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open Spotify,<\/li>\n<li>Stop any music if any might be playing,<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Edit<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Preferences<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down to the <strong>Cache<\/strong> section,<\/li>\n<li>Next to <strong>Location<\/strong> click <strong>Browse<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Select the new location of the cache (or create a new folder to contain the cache),<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>That&#8217;s all you need to do and Spotify should remove its cache files from its original location without manual intervention.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s a quick tip.
