Otherwise, you could try using telnet but that can be a bit fiddly if you&#8217;re not comfortable with a command line interface.<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise, you could use a handy site called <a title=\"Built With\" href=\"http:\/\/builtwith.com\" target=\"_blank\">Built With<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a cinch to use, just type in the address of the website you want to find out\u00a0 more about and hit Enter. You can see the results for my <a title=\"blog.mingersoft.com | Built With\" href=\"http:\/\/builtwith.com\/blog.mingersoft.com\" target=\"_blank\">blog&#8217;s website address<\/a> here as an example. You&#8217;ll be able to see a lot of stuff, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>web server information,<\/li>\n<li>content management system information,<\/li>\n<li>frameworks (PHP, ASP, etc),<\/li>\n<li>advertising,<\/li>\n<li>analytics \/ tracking,<\/li>\n<li>JavaScript libraries,<\/li>\n<li>webpage encoding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some websites may have other information not listed here or may have relatively less information &#8211; it really depends upon each individual website.
