{"id":5970,"date":"2013-07-05T11:30:13","date_gmt":"2013-07-05T01:30:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mingersoft.com\/blog\/?p=5970"},"modified":"2013-07-04T20:32:54","modified_gmt":"2013-07-04T10:32:54","slug":"office-365-finally-gets-upgraded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mingersoft.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/office-365-finally-gets-upgraded\/","title":{"rendered":"Office 365 Finally Gets Upgraded"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just a short note today.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been using Office 365 for a while now after <a title=\"Giving Office 365 a Shot | Boydo's Tech Talk\" href=\"http:\/\/mingersoft.com\/blog\/2012\/07\/giving-office-365-a-shot\/\" target=\"_blank\">some issues trying to manage an explosion of e-mail<\/a> with my webhost and, after some anticipation, I&#8217;ve finally had my account upgraded to the equivalent of Office 2013, Exchange 2013 and Sharepoint 2013 overnight.<\/p>\n<p>I did have to manually upgrade my Sharepoint sites which took less than a minute as there isn&#8217;t much up there apart from some documents I keep up in the cloud.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, I&#8217;ll write about my experiences with the new version of Office 365 but I already appreciate the updated Outlook Web interface to match Outlook 2013. I was on <strong>Microsoft Office 365 Plan P1<\/strong> which apparently maps to\u00a0<strong>Office 365 Small Business<\/strong> after the upgrade but there is an\u00a0<strong>Office 365 Small Business Premium<\/strong> plan which also includes five copies of Microsoft Office per user as well as Office Mobile for iPhone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a short note today.
