This is perhaps not such a bad move but maybe confusing for actual developers and power users who weren&#8217;t told about the change (but they would be smart enough to look up articles such as this one to figure out what happened).<\/p>\n<p>So, this is how you get back your developer menu:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 11.988636016845703px;\">Open\u00a0<strong>Settings<\/strong>,<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Scroll down and tap on\u00a0<strong>About phone<\/strong> or\u00a0<strong>About tablet<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down to\u00a0<strong>Android version<\/strong> amd tap it slowly seven times,<\/li>\n<li>You should see a message come up notifying you that you are now a developer (or words to that effect!),<\/li>\n<li>Tap the back button,<\/li>\n<li><strong>Developer options<\/strong> should now be visible and should remain visible.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Easy once you know how \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another quick tip if you&#8217;ve upgraded your Android device to version 4.2.x.
