Whilst I don&#8217;t discourage such a reaction it is prudent to do some investigation before jumping to conclusions.<\/p>\n<p>In this case, COM-MID1 is a hostname commonly assigned to the Wi-Fi adapters found in Panasonic products. It&#8217;s a bit odd that you can&#8217;t provide an alternative name in the settings for Panasonic products particularly given that you can tweak almost every other setting.<\/p>\n<p>However, it is worth knowing that if you&#8217;ve got multiple Panasonic products with Wi-Fi connectivity you could well have \u00a0multiple entries for COM-MID1 so you may need to do some trial and error if you&#8217;re wanting to determine which device is which.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s a quick tip.
