This wasn&#8217;t a big deal as I knew the PIN to unlock but having to put in two codes (one to unlock the PIN and another to unlock the phone) was slightly annoying.<\/p>\n<p>So, here&#8217;s how to disable a SIM PIN under Android:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 11.988636016845703px;\">Go into\u00a0<strong>Settings<\/strong>,<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Tap\u00a0<strong>Security<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Tap\u00a0<strong>Set up SIM Lock<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Untick\u00a0<strong>Lock SIM card<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Type in the PIN.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Your SIM will now be PIN free!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recently, I dusted off an old SIM card to use in an old phone and found that it still had a SIM PIN on it.
