It&#8217;s fairly easy to flick the switch as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 11.988636016845703px;\">Tap the Windows button to get back to the Start Screen,<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Tap the Photos tile,<\/li>\n<li>Swipe up from the bottom to show the menu,<\/li>\n<li>Tap <strong>Settings<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down and tap\u00a0<strong>SkyDrive<\/strong> under\u00a0<strong>Auto upload<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Tap\u00a0<strong>Best quality (needs Wi-Fi)<\/strong> for both <b>Photos<\/b> and\u00a0<strong>Videos<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Tap the\u00a0<strong>Windows<\/strong> button to exit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>As the options suggest, your full quality backups will only take place when you are connected to Wi-Fi to avoid obscene data usage on your mobile service.<\/p>\n<p>One final thing, this is still taking some time to deploy across all accounts so it is possible that you won&#8217;t see these options until a few days after the initial announcement from Microsoft on Wednesday 08\/05\/2013.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yes, the USA has had this for ages but only in the last few days the rest of the world&#8217;s Windows Phone 8 userbase is gradually being offered the ability to enable automatic full quality backups for their photos and videos.
