Here’s a quick telnet tip.<\/p>\n

When you use telnet under Windows by default you won’t be able to see what you’re typing. This can be problematic if you’re doing lots of typing and you need to spot errors.<\/p>\n

What you need to do is enable local echo<\/strong> in telnet before you start using it and you can do it as follows:<\/p>\n

  1. Hit\u00a0Window key + R<\/strong>,<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Type in\u00a0telnet<\/strong> and press\u00a0Enter<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
  3. Type\u00a0set localecho<\/strong> and press\u00a0Enter<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
  4. Type\u00a0quit<\/strong> and press\u00a0Enter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
