This can be problematic if you&#8217;re doing lots of typing and you need to spot errors.<\/p>\n<p>What you need to do is enable <strong>local echo<\/strong> in telnet before you start using it and you can do it as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 11.988636016845703px;\">Hit\u00a0<strong>Window key + R<\/strong>,<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Type in\u00a0<strong>telnet<\/strong> and press\u00a0<strong>Enter<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Type\u00a0<strong>set localecho<\/strong> and press\u00a0<strong>Enter<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Type\u00a0<strong>quit<\/strong> and press\u00a0<strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>That will enable local echo and save the settings for future sessions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s a quick telnet tip.
