It seems that when you attempt to add a search provider in Internet Explorer 8, 9 or 10 that the option for Google does not appear at all (at least for me in Australia). A colleague of mine at work pointed this out when his work computer had the default of Bing but wanted to add Google but to no avail.<\/p>\n

To cut a long story short, you need to visit the Google Search page in the Internet Explorer Gallery @\u00a0http:\/\/www.iegallery.com\/en-US\/Addons\/Details\/813 and then click the big red\u00a0Add to Internet Explorer<\/strong> button. You can will then see this window:<\/p>\n
