If you hadn’t realised, MySpace is still alive and, well umm, let’s just say it’s still alive. Anyway, a few days ago I got something that ended up in my junk mail folder appearing to be from MySpace.<\/p>\n

So I had a look.<\/p>\n

The mail looks legitimate enough and it contained an invitation to try out the “new MySpace”. Hmmmm.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I’ve signed up and I’m trying it out.<\/p>\n

You know, they might be on to something particularly with the ability to “connect” with tracks, albums and artists and stream full length tracks as well.<\/p>\n

I’ll muck around with it a bit more and see how it goes but the only downside so far is that it won’t work with older versions of Internet Explorer (at least when I tried with IE8 on another computer) – MySpace have blocked it citing that their site works best in Chrome or Firefox but IE10 on Windows 8 the site seems to load but music won’t play.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
